300 Days of Sun + 150 Miles of Bikeways = Ride All Year!
There was a record turnout for this year's event, with approximately 1,700 people registered to participate in the fifth annual Winter Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013. Thanks to all who biked, to all of the sponsors and to all of the breakfast stations!
Everyone who registered was entered into a drawing for various prizes, including two lift tickets to Eldora Mountain Resort, a pair of Save Our Soles socks and an insulated Polar Bottle water bottle.
Prize winners were notified via email on Friday, Jan. 25.
Thank you to all of the sponsors!
This year's festivities were presented by the City of Boulder/GO Boulder in partnership with Community Cycles, the CU Boulder Environmental Center and the Boulder County Transportation Department.

How should I prepare for winter riding?
The GO Boulder website offers information to assist with your commute, including bike and transit maps. Try using GOBikeBoulder.net, a mapping tool that creates a customized bike route with turn-by-turn directions and calculates how far you will ride, how many calories you will burn, and how much gas you will save by not driving.
