Mesa Memorial Park Neighborhood Meeting

On Tuesday, April 23 the Parks and Recreation Department presented the final improvement plan and construction schedule for the development of Mesa Memorial Park. The meeting was also an opportunity for the public to provide suggestions for an official park name.

There was general agreement that the plan should be implemented as presented. The Department will be working with the Landscape Architecture consultant, StudioTerra, on the project to address any outstanding design issues. There was also general agreement that moving forward with a schedule that begins park construction in the spring of 2014 is the most realistic.

The Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of reviewing park name suggestions that have been submitted. A list of possible park name will be available for review at a later date.
