Council Agenda Committee Meeting Summaries

The Council Agenda Committee (CAC) consists of  the mayor, deputy mayor and one rotating council member, as well as key city staff members.  It meets regularly on Mondays at 8 a.m. in the city manager's office or on Tuesday if a holiday falls on Monday.

The general responsibilities of the Council Agenda Committee include but are not limited to the following:

• Sets the agenda for council meetings and study sessions
• Comments on written materials to assure all questions are answered
• Discusses correspondence, faxes and emails to the Mayor and Council
• Establishes check points for council input on important staff projects
• Primarily responsible for Council related scheduling items

CAC meeting summaries are posted to the Web by 10 a.m. Tuesday, two times each month.  This is done after the final council agenda material has been reviewed and the agenda materials are available online to the public.  This is typically the Monday before each regularly-scheduled council meeting (first and third Tuesday of each month).

CAC Rotation Schedule

Please note:  Whenever regularly scheduled council members are unable to attend, volunteers from within the council will substitute.
