The Office of Human Rights enforces two local city ordinances:

• Human Rights Ordinance:  The City of Boulder's Human Rights Ordinance protects against illegal discrimination in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodation.
• Failure to Pay Wages Ordinance:  The City of Boulder's Failure to Pay Wages Ordinance protects workers within the city limits of Boulder from non-payment of wages owed them.
