Setback Variance: As part of a proposal to construct an addition to an existing single family residence located in the Mapleton Historic District, the applicant is requesting a variance to the rear yard and side yard adjacent street setback requirements of the RL-1 zoning district. The resulting rear yard setback will be 18’-0” where 25'-0" is required and 15’-8" currently exists. The resulting side yard adjacent street setback will be 11’-0” where 25’-0” is required and 11’-0” currently exists.  Section of the Land Use Regulations to be modified: Section 9-7-1, BRC 1981.
