Meet the EXPAND Staff
Colleen Fitzgerald, M.S. Ed, CTRS, CPRPColleen began working for EXPAND in 1997 as the program coordinator. Colleen’s responsibilities include overall program development and staff supervision, college intership student placement and fundraising. She is also the liaison to the Parks and Recreation Department for development of policies and procedures pertaining to people with disabilities in parks and recreation. Colleen began her career in 1985 in Illinois, completed her Master of Education in 2001 and is constantly seeking out new ideas for EXPAND. Cory Lasher, CTRSCory started working with EXPAND in 1996 as an intern and then took a full-time position in EXPAND’s leisure area. Cory is responsible for community outings, dances and Leisure Links (a summer program). Cory has been a Board Member for the Golf 4 Fun program that provides golf opportunities for golfers with physical disabilities. Cory’s special interest program is Journeys through EXPAND a program for adults with mild traumatic brain injury. Cory enjoys the outdoors and being active with her daughter Reilly. Originally from Nebraska, Jen came out to Colorado for the outdoor opportunities and has never left. Jen coordinates aquatics, bowling and serves as a inclusive consultant with the YMCA summer day camp programs. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Lori Goldman, CTRSLori graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She interned with EXPAND during the summer of 2001 and now works full-time. Lori coordinates adventure programs. She also focuses on youth and teen programs. Sherri has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Northern Iowa. Sherri coordinates unified sports, athletic programs and leisure sports. In her spare time, Sherri enjoys spending time with her family camping, water or snow skiing or participating in sports.
