About Children, Youth & Families Programs for Children and Families

Children, Youth & Families provides a variety of services for child care needs. We seek to improve child care quality, affordability, and availability through support for child care providers, resource and referral services, and financial assistance to parents seeking child care.

Children, Youth & Families works closely with other community groups to analyze and address changing community needs. In partnership with others, we organize community events, gather and disseminate information, develop pilot programs, and assist in the development of family-friendly public policy.

Our services are available throughout Boulder County through support from the City of Boulder and grants from Foothills United Way, Qualistar Colorado, City of Longmont, Boulder County Housing and Human Services and other private foundations.

Funding also provided by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care as the lead agency in Colorado for administering the Child Care and Development Funds available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
