2010 Community Development Block Grant RFP now available.The City of Boulder has issued the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2010 Community Development grants. An estimated $325,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds will be available from HUD for this funding process. The purpose of the Community Development Block Grant Program is to meet community development needs, principally for low and moderate-income persons. You may download a Word version of the RFP application here or call 303-441-3157 to have it emailed to you. NOTE: the RFP is in four parts: 1) the instructions are a PDF file, the 2) application, 3) project summary sheet, and 4) application checklist are three separate Word forms that you will be able to fill out electronically in Word by using the highlighted check and text boxes. Be sure to download all four documents! 1) CDBG 2010 RFP Instructions and Program Information Proposals are due Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. No late proposals will be accepted. Interested in finding out more? READ ON! The City of Boulder receives about $900,000 in CDBG funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development each year. Boulder uses the CDBG grant to support capital improvement projects for agencies that are meeting the needs of low/moderate income residents in the City of Boulder.
