LOCATION
Buckingham Park is located at the intersection of Left Hand Canyon Drive and Old Stage Road, north of Boulder and west of Hwy. 36.

From Boulder, go west on Lee Hill Road, to Old Stage and the junction of Lefthand Canyon Drive.

A small parking lot exists adjacent to the main picnic area. The individual picnic areas along Lefthand Canyon Drive have vehicle pullouts.

TRAILS
Buckingham Park picnic area has short trails that lead to picnic tables and access to Lefthand Creek.

ACCESSIBILITY

PICNIC FACILITIES
Buckingham Park offers several creek-side picnic tables with grills. Four more secluded picnic areas are located west along Lefthand Canyon Drive.

DOGS
Dogs on leash only. Dog excrement removal is required by law.

RESTROOMS
Vault-style latrines at the main picnic area.

HISTORIC INFO
Buckingham Park was donated by deed to the City of Boulder by local banker C.G. Buckingham in 1929, to be used specifically for public recreation.  It is a series of old mining claims running along Lefthand Creek.
