May 27, 1998 - Ramsey Update #67FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: City Web site: www.bouldercolorado.gov MEDIA ADVISORY Boulder Police Commander Mark Beckner will present the JonBenet Ramsey case to Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter on June 1 and 2. The presentation will take place at the CU Coors Events Center. Commander Beckner will be joined by the seven detectives who have worked on the JonBenet Ramsey investigation: Case Supervisor, Sgt. Tom Wickman, Detective Tom Trujillo, Detective Steve Thomas, Detective Jane Harmer, Detective Ron Gosage, Detective Carey Weinheimer, and Detective Michael Everett. At the conclusion of the presentation on June 2, Commander Beckner will make some brief comments to the media, although no details of the case will be released. The exact time of these remarks is dependent upon when the presentation concludes, although it will probably take place in the afternoon. Parking is available at meters along Regent Drive and just north of the CU Coors Event Center in Lot 440. Large vehicles can park in Lot 436 on the east side of the parking garage. Permits are required and cost $5 per day. Permits can be purchased at the CU Police Department, 1050 Regent Drive, for one or two days.
