The Sister Cities of Boulder promote people-to-people relationships and connections.  People-to-people relationships not only enhance our lives but represent our best hope for peace and prosperity in the future.  Sister Cities programs raise awareness of global issues, improve cultural understanding, and promote greater participation in international dialogue and exchanges.

Boulder, Colorado's Sister Cities have an active program of volunteers.  We are always looking for new members to join a Sister City.  Choose a sister city of interest above to learn more about each city or to email us questions regarding membership.

Who Are Boulder's Seven Sister Cities? 

The City of Boulder has seven official "sister city" relationships, authorized by the Boulder City Council under Council Resolution No. 631.

All activities between Boulder and its respective sister cities are coordinated by the citizen-based non-profit organizations that initiated and maintain each sister city affiliation.
