Larry Donner

Larry Donner has been the City of Boulder's Fire Chief since 1991. Donner was Fire Chief in Iowa City, Iowa for five years and before that worked for the Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins for 14 years.

Chief Donner has a master's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Colorado State University (CSU), a bachelor's degree in Political Science from CSU, and an associate's degree in Fire Science Technology from Community College of Denver. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program and the Harvard Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government.

Donner enjoys jogging, camping, and various outdoor activities.
