Bob Eichem

Bob Eichem was appointed the Finance Director for the City of Boulder in May 2005.

Previously, Eichem was the finance director for the City of Northglenn since 2002.

He has over 20 years of municipal government and school district financial and business experience in agencies around Colorado.

Eichem received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University and is currently in the process of completing a Master’s Degree in Political Science, with an emphasis in politics and public policy, at the University of Colorado at Denver.

Eichem oversees the city’s $196 million budget and the city’s Finance Department operations, encompassing 30 employees in the areas of financial operations and reporting, budget, sales tax and treasury services.
