Patrick von Keyserling

Patrick von Keyserling is the Communication Director for the City of Boulder.

von Keyserling joined the City of Boulder in June 2009.  Prior to joining the city, he was a Director of Marketing with The Nature Conservancy and Senior Director of Communications for the American Heart Association. His previous public sector positions include Communication Director for Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and Communication Specialist for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Before entering public service, von Keyserling was an award-winning journalist with the Central Penn Business Journal where he served as Assistant Editor.

In his role as City of Boulder Communication Director, von Keyserling oversees a centralized communication division responsible for public relations, media relations, crisis communications, broadcast production, social media, and internal communications.
