The Campaign Finance Administrator reviewed the October 20 filing submitted by the Committee to Elect George Karakehian (committee) and found that thirty-six (36) contributions should have been reported on the previous October 6 filing.  The committee was issued a violation notice of Boulder Revised Code 13-2-8 (b) (2) “Statement of Contributions and Expenditures for Official Candidate Committees.”  On Wednesday, October 21, Jack Stokes, Treasurer for the committee, called to self-report that an additional fifty-nine (59) contributions had not been properly recorded.  This was an additional violation of BRC 13-2-8 (b) (2).  The committee was issued a second violation notice with instructions to amend the 10-20 filing to bring the committee into compliance within 72 hours (BRC 13-2-22 (a) (2).  This violation has been cured and no further actions will be taken.
