The 5th Annual Airport Day is Saturday, June 19, 2010 (the day before Father's Day)
 
Airport Day Schedule
6:30 am:  Hot air balloon launch
9 a.m.:  Aircraft exhibits open to the public
Noon:  Flyover and parachute demonstration
3 p.m.:  Aircraft exhibits close
 
Aviation Seminar Schedule (in the terminal meeting room)
Seminars are open to the public and free.
8 a.m.:  Weather Spotter training (registration required by calling 303-449-1736)
12:30 p.m.:  Artful Flying with Michael Maya-Charles
2 p.m.:  Learning about Light Sport aircraft and pilot certification
 
Aircraft on display include:  WWII trainer, WWII torpedo bomber, military helicopter, medevac helicopter, Civil Air Patrol, light sport aircraft, home-built aircraft, corporate aircraft, bi-wing aircraft, gliders and more.  There will also be a helicopter and open-cockpit bi-wing offering paid rides over the Boulder area at a drastically reduced price.  Food vendors will also be available.
