Chad Dammenchad-dammen

Education: BS in Kinesiology-Exercise & Fitness from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, MS in Exercise Science-Performance Enhancement & Injury Prevention from the University of California, Pennsylvania

Certifications: National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist, USA Weightlifting-club coach

Chad first worked in Club Corps Milwaukee facility, Le Club. He later worked at Binghamton University in upstate New York and then the International Performance Institute at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida. Most recently, he was the Sports Performance Director at Velocity Sports Performance in Concord, California.

Chad has worked with everyone from pro athletes from a variety of sports to youth groups and the elderly. His comprehensive approach addresses everything: strength and power, energy system development, speed and movement mechanics, lifestyle and nutritional consultations, as well as consciousness development.


Chris Hedmanhedman

Certifications: Certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, accreditation for older adult exercise through Healthways-SilverSneakersĀ®.

Expertise and Areas of Specialty

Chris instructs several co-ed and women weight training classes and SilverSneakers classes. He also provides personal training for a broad demographic of clientele including seniors, young adults and special populations.

Chris is interested in helping people improve their overall wellness through exercise and healthy lifestyle choices. He has a sincere desire to contribute and to gain experience working with the general population, and has a particular interest in working with senior adults to help them achieve personal fitness goals and to assist in improving their functional living capabilities.


Ignacio Malpica

Ignacio says, "I stay motivated by training in different ways all the time, and learning about the many ways I could help and see progress in my students. I don't have a specific tip for them. I think that it is most important to help them stay focused on their goal and have fun with the training/process. I like to find what they do right and always let them know about it, as well as helping them improve other areas. My motivator is to have fun!! And more fun!"

He teaches F.I.T. Workout, Women's Workout, Adult Kickboxing, BootCamp, Self-defense for Women, EXPAND and YSI kickboxing and is a Personal Trainer. Ignacio teaches all ages (6 to adult) and all physical abilities.


Roberta D. MecklenburgRoberta Mecklenburg

Education: B.S. Exercise Science and Kinesiology

Certifications:
ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist
ACSM Exercise is Medicine Credential

Roberta has more than 18 years of personal training experience, and is skilled at designing goal oriented, results driven, health and exercise programs. Her specialties are circuit training, TRX and stability ball training, individual weight loss programs, custom running and cycling programs, partner training, and group exercise training. Roberta has completed more than a dozen marathons and triathlons, and is an avid runner, biker, skier and overall outdoor fitness enthusiast who is passionate about motivating and encouraging individuals to be the fittest they can be.


Martin Petrofes

Certifications: ACSM Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor as well as a certified Health Fitness Specialist and a Red Cross certified First Aid/CPR Instructor.

Martin has been working with clients from preschool to senior citizens and post-injury/accident to world class athletes since 1982. He is currently working for the Boulder Parks and Recreation as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, First Aid/CPR Instructor, Gymnastics Instructor, and as an

Instructor for the EXPAND Program.

Martin can design programs to fit the specific needs and interests of the individual whether they are in one-on-one or group class settings.


Siga AndrewSiga-Andrew

Education: BS with State Board Certification in Physical Therapy, Cleveland State University; MA in Exercise Physiology, Kent State University

Certifications: State Board Physical Therapy Certification since 1988; CPR/First Aid; Level 1 Nordic Ski Instructor through PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors Association)

Siga brings 20 plus years of exercise experience to the Boulder fitness team. She enjoys the challenge of problem-solving, working within the confines of post-injury/surgery to create a personalized exercise/strength program that will successfully accomplish clients' goals. Her work experiences include orthopedics, body mechanics (think work environments of all kinds!), home health care, and group training (running, swimming, skate and classic Nordic skiing). She enjoys the outdoors in all seasons and has experienced races from 5k runs to Half Ironman as well as endurance bike rides, biathlon, climbing and paddle boarding.

 Jeff Pruettjeff

Education: Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology

Certifications: NSCA Certified Personal Trainer

Jeff became a personal trainer at the age of 21 after finishing his collegiate soccer career and working in his family gym for 6 years. The most gratifying experience for Jeff is to see his clients accomplish their goals and receive a new outlook on life.

Jeff currently instructs FIT Workout, Youth Training Safety, Youth Sport Performance, Ski Conditioning and Strength Fusion.
