Worked with planners and government officials in many planning jurisdictions in order to tightly integrate land use and transportation, with a special emphasis on sustainability.

Worked with planning board members, designers, developers, citizens and staff on more than a dozen site reviews of major projects, totaling more than $500 million, including multi-tenant office buildings, attached and detached housing developments, and mixed use projects.

Lead environmental lawyer and a member of the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee in the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Litigation. 1989-1992.

Recognition

Selected by both federal and state judges to be one of seven lawyers in charge of more than 150 cases that were filed against Exxon and Alyeska in connection with the March 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill.

Special recognition from the Natural Resources Defense Council in June, 1993 for "energetic and expert leadership in the pursuit of justice on behalf of the Alaska environment" in connection with the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Litigation.

Recognized by Hispanic workers at the Treasury Department "in grateful appreciation for helping to open the doors of opportunity for Hispanics at the Denver Mint."
