CHATS - A Review of Boulder's Affordable Housing Programs

The Boulder City Council discussed the 2011 Task Force Report at a Study Session on March 1, 2012. Affordable Housing 2011 Task Force Report .

City Council considered the Division of Housing 2012-2013 work plan at a Study Session on May 8, 2012.

The Department of Housing and Human Services initiated a review of the city's affordable housing programs in 2010 to assess progress on the city's affordable housing goals and to evaluate current policies, programs, and priorities.

Affordable Housing Task Force Background

The Affordable Housing Program Review consisted of three phases:

Phase I: Goals and Strategies Review (Completed)
Phase II: Regulatory Review (Completed)
Phase III: New Initiatives - 2010-2011 - Affordable Housing Task Force

The overall charge of the Task Force was to analyze and make recommendations to staff and City Council on city housing goals, affordability issues and the city's affordable housing programs.
