Harlow Platts Park irrigation renovation and exercise par course replacement

Impacts: Temporary impacts to users (detours provided as needed)

Dates: Irrigation renovation: June 2010 – summer 2011

Update Aug. 31, 2010: Installation of irrigation line under lot access driveways is scheduled for early September for approximately two weeks. Impacts include intermittent, temporary South Boulder Recreation Center parking lot entry/exit closures. (Detours will be provided—there will always be at least one entry to each lot.)

Exercise par course: August 2010- October 2010 (Dependent on weather and contractor scheduling)

Project Highlights

• Major irrigation system renovation using latest water conservation technology
• Re-seed or re-sod with low-water turf (as necessary)
• Replace exercise par course equipment

Please Note: All park construction and restoration project dates are subject to change due to weather conditions, contractor schedules and material delivery. Therefore, dates are tentative. Updates and progress reports will be posted on this Web site as available.
