The City of Boulder's Treasury Division is responsible for daily management of the city's cash and investments. The Division follows the investment ordinance found in Chapter 2-10 of the Boulder Revised Code, 1981. An investment committee consisting of the Director of Finance and Record, Deputy Finance Director / Controller and Investment Specialist meets quarterly to review the investment portfolio performance, establish internal guidelines and discuss interest rate and market trends.

The following quarterly reports provide information on the investment portfolio of the city and the effective rate of returns received on those investments.
