Voters approved bond funding in November 2011 that will allow the city to address the backlog of critical infrastructure deficiencies that exist throughout the community. Through this funding opportunity the Parks and Recreation Department will be improving Columbine Park during 2012 by replacing aging infrastructure and improving the park to current standards. City staff held a neighborhood meeting on March 1, 2012 so residents could learn more about the project and discuss the proposed improvements.
