Current "hot topic" responses to council correspondence

City Council receives many emails and hard copy letters from the public and parties interested in the business of the City of Boulder. When a letter is received, the correspondent receives an automated response acknowledging the communication. Often council members and/or city staff also reply to the correspondent individually.

Periodically, city staff creates extended standard responses that are sent out in response to "hot topics" in order to explain the current status of an issue. These extended standard responses are typically created to answer common questions and clarify the role and time line for the city process on an issue that is pending council action or has been covered in the media.

What follows is a list of the current "hot topic" extended standard responses. This list does not represent a complete list of city issues nor does it represent the most complete background information on these subjects. For complete background information, please refer to the applicable city department's website.
