Each year we strive to make Boulder a greener, better place to live and play. This includes finding ways to make all our parks and facilities more environmentally sustainable.

Get involved!

Four easy ways to help make Boulder's parks and recreation facilities as environmentally sustainable as possible:

1. Walk, ride your bike or take a bus the next time you visit a park, rec center or other facility! Check out GO Boulder for more info, routes and tips.
2. Volunteer! See upcoming opportunites or adopt a park or flowerbed
3. Visit a demonstration garden: learn about planting drought-tolerant and native vegetation in your yard. Demonstration gardens
   
4. Make your event zero waste - whether it's an impromtu picnic or a wedding with 200 guests
