Kisumu is Boulder's newest Sister City, established in April, 2009.  Kisumu is located in Western Kenya on the shores of Lake Victoria 15 miles south of the Equator and is the capital of Kenya's Nyanza Province.  Sister City Programs assist Kisumu vulnerable populations through sale of Free Trade goods.
