The City of Boulder's Backflow Prevention Program (BPP) is responsible for tracking the installation and annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies on all hazardous cross-connections (potential points for contamination & backflow) in residential, commercial and industrial, and irrigation plumbing systems connected to the city's water supply. Properly working backflow prevention assemblies (BFPAs) keep drinking water clean and safe.

See the pdf Backflow Prevention Assembly info sheet.
