Training Center Project

 

The Project:

The approximate 10 acre site is accessed via 51st Street through the reservoir recreation area. There are three main features of the new fire training center; the classroom building, training tower and burn building.

Other components of this training center will include:

A pump test area where the water pumps on fire trucks can be tested annually.

Vehicle extrication areas for fire crews to practice removing simulated victims wrecked, damaged automobiles.

A car fire simulator that is propane fired where crews practice proper techniques to extinguish burning vehicles.
