Fallen branches should be taken to the Yard Waste Drop-off site or put in curbside compost pickup
Branches, leaves and other yard waste are accepted at the city’s Yard Waste Drop-off site located at Western Disposal, 5880 Butte Mill Road, free to city residents. 

You may also use your curbside compost cart for as many branches that will fit.  Branches that do not fit in the compost cart may be placed alongside it in bundles (3ft. in diameter by 6ft. in length) tied with compostable twine.  You may place up to three bundles next to your cart.  Bundles tied with plastic or nylon twine will not be accepted.   You may also place up to three, 32-gallon compostable or paper bags of leaves (leaves only) by your compost cart on collection day. 

During the seasonal fluctuation of yard waste, customers may also increase the size of their compost cart for a fee.  Contact your trash hauler for more details.  For information on the Yard Waste Drop-off site, visit www.westerndisposal.com.  For information on curbside compost collection service, contact your trash hauler.

Senior Services Winter Magazine now available
The City of Boulder Senior Services Winter 2009/2010 magazine is now available. Copies have been mailed to City of Boulder seniors and can be picked up at the East Boulder Senior Center, 5660 Sioux Drive, the West Boulder Senior Center, 909 Arapahoe Ave., or found online magazine at  http://www.boulderseniorservices.com.

Registration for winter programs begins on Thursday, Nov. 12 for Encore members.  Mail-in, fax, online and drop-off registration begins Friday, Nov. 13, and walk-in and phone registration begins Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 8:30 a.m.  Register online at www.boulderseniorservices.com.
