Boulder Revisits Construction Use Tax

The City of Boulder received the final report from Anita White Consulting, Update on Practices in Construction Use Tax, on Dec. 10, 2009.
City Manager Jane Brautigam finalized her determination on the city’s Construction Use Tax issue today. Her report has been posted to the city website. Ms. Brautigam’s decision was based on information provided by the consultant, comments from a public stakeholder meeting with the City Manager, a review of existing city processes, and counsel from the City Attorney’s Office.

A public stakeholder meeting with the City Manager is scheduled for Dec. 14 from 3:30-5 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building located at 1777 Broadway.
Ms. Brautigam will present the City Manager's Report to City Council Concerning Construction Use Tax on Dec. 15 during the City Council meeting, held in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building located at 1777 Broadway. The Dec. 15 meeting will be broadcast on Channel 8 at 6 p.m.
