Meet the commander

The Boulder Police Department's Traffic Unit enforces traffic laws, investigates motor vehicle collisions, assists motorists and educates the public about reducing traffic collisions and injuries.

The unit consists of 13 officers, two sergeants and four civilian Accident Report Specialists (ARS).  There are five officers and one sergeant who are also motor officers. Drivers will see them on their BMW motorcycles whenever the weather allows.
