Section No. 7-6-13(a)(9): Parking in a Bike Lane

Vehicles cannot park on a bike lane or path.  Bicycles traveling in the bike lane would be forced into the motor vehicle lane by vehicles parked or stopped in the bike lane. 

Just as it is illegal to stop or park in a lane of travel for cars and trucks, it is illegal to stop or park on a bike lane.
