Section No. 7-6-13(b)(3): Parking within 20 feet of a Crosswalk or Intersection
Vehicles must be parked at least 20 feet from a crosswalk or intersection unless there are signs or markings that permit parking closer than 20 feet. This is a safety issue. Vehicles approaching an intersection need to have a clear view of traffic to avoid potential accidents. Vehicles parked too close can obstruct traffic, pedestrians and signage.
If you were ticketed for this violation, you were parked too close to a crosswalk or intersection as shown in the diagram below.

If no crosswalk or sidewalks exist, a vehicle must park 20 feet from the near side curb line of the intersection as shown in the following diagram.
