Section No. 7-6-14(a): Unauthorized Parking
Owners of public and private property have the authority to limit who may park on their property and for what time period. If you received a ticket for this violation, you either did not have permission to park in that location or you exceeded the time limit.
The following is an example of a sign prohibiting parking on private property located on James Travel at 1700 14th St. in Boulder. Vehicles can be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense for unauthorized parking in this location.

These signs are posted at the entrances to Scott Carpenter Park. The Parks Department received complaints that there is no parking available for those who would like to use the park. These signs now prohibit parking there if you are not using the park.
