§7-6-15(a)
Section No. 7-6-15(a): Exceeding Time Limit Zone
When a traffic control sign is regulating the length of time a vehicle may park in that location, no vehicle can park longer than the time designated except on Sundays and holidays. The photograph below shows an example of a sign regulating the length of time a vehicle may park. If you received a ticket for this violation, you were parked for longer than permitted.

In time zones, vehicles tires are chalked. A vehicle may move from the time zone and return at a later time, as long as it opens the space for a different vehicle to park.

Other examples of time zone signs are illustrated below.
