Section No. 7-6-25(a): Parking in City Employee Lot
No vehicle may be parked in a city employee parking lot except one bearing a valid parking sticker or parking tag permitting parking in that location.
City employee parking lot is any lot designated by a sign as city employee parking.
If you received a ticket for this violation, you were parked in the lot during the times a permit is required and did not display a valid permit.

A valid City Employee Permit is required to park during the times and in the areas designated "City Employee Parking Only." To park in disabled stalls in a city employee lot, a handicap permit is required in addition to the city employee permit.
The photos below depict the newer red permit and the older blue permit. Month, day, and year are all scratched out for the day the permit is to be used.

City employee permits should be hung from the mirror, not placed on the dash, such as this one. If the permit is not readable, the vehicle will be ticketed.
