§7-6-13(a)(8)

< Back to list of parking violations

Section No. 7-6-13(a)(8): Parking in Median

It is illegal to park in the area between the roadways of a divided street. Vehicles need to have a clear view of the traffic on the road regardless of whether the street is divided. Vehicles stopped or parked in the median may hide many unexpected dangers that can potentially cause accidents.  This is a safety issue.
