Design Review Committee (DRC)


Meeting Schedule:

Every Wednesday, 9 a.m.
1739 Broadway, third floor, Olmsted Room

 

The Design Review Committee reviews requests for alterations to individual landmarks and alterations to properties within historic districts. The Design Review Committee includes two Landmarks Board members and a city staff liaison. The committee meets weekly.

The Design Review Committee (DRC) is made up of two members of the Landmarks Board (LB) and one Historic Preservation staff person.

DRC meets weekly to review requests. Any alteration to the exterior of a structure or to a landmark site requires review by DRC.

A public hearing before the full LB is required for all new construction or demolition on landmark sites or properties within historic districts. A LB decision is final unless called up by City Council.
