How much money should I expect to pay?

The amount of money you will be required to pay at court will depend on your individual circumstances, including whether you have a prior MIP case. The table below indicates typical court fines and fees for the most common situations.

For defendants facing their 1st or 2nd MIP charge, the associated fees are due on your court date. If you do not have payment on the day of court, you will have to come back on another court date. These costs do NOT include the cost of whatever alcohol treatment program is ordered.
