Additional OffensesWhat if I have another charge in addition to my MIP charge? If your additional charge is Possession or Consumption of Alcohol in Public, Urinating in Public, or Littering, your options as to that second charge are the same as if you did not also have an MIP charge. You can plead guilty and pay a $100 fine, or you can plead not guilty and set your case for trial to a judge or a jury. If your additional charge is more serious, the prosecutor will evaluate your case and may make you a plea bargain offer. Typically, the plea bargain offer will be similar to the offer you would have received if you did not also have an MIP charge. Last Updated on Monday, 04 June 2012 11:47 |
