New Stormwater/Flood Management Fees

The recalculated stormwater/flood management fees for all multifamily properties in Boulder went into effect on Jan. 1, 2013.

To establish the new fees, we used updated records from the Boulder County Assessor's Office to determine how much impervious (hard surface) area and pervious (soft surface) area exist in relation to the total area of each property.

Your Bill

• Your account may have been consolidated with others into a new "Stormwater Only" account that is being charged to your property owner or property manager. Depending on your situation, this fee may be added to your rent by your property owner or manager, but will no longer be included on your City of Boulder utility bill.
• If you feel the revised fee is incorrect, you may request an appeal and have your stormwater/flood management fee reviewed.
