The first three incidents took place in the 1100 block of Lincoln Place. In one case, a female witness told police she awoke to find an unknown man attempting to sexually assault her. In the other two incidents on Lincoln Place, the victims were a male and a female. They also awoke to find that a suspect had entered their homes. In all three cases, the suspect left when confronted.

Later the same morning, at about 6 a.m., a fourth incident occurred in the 1000 block of Pleasant. As in the other cases, the female victim awoke to find an unknown male in her home. He left when she confronted him.

The victims reported the crimes many hours after they occurred, and although police canvassed the neighborhood at the time of the reports, the suspect wasn’t located.

Police would like to remind residents to take basic safety precautions, such as locking doors and windows and making sure that homes have adequate outdoor lighting. Call 911 immediately if you notice anything suspicious.
