Urban Forestry Division

Urban Forestry will place pheromone packets in all the Scotch and Austrian pine trees on the Pearl Street Mall andKeewaydin Park, located at Manhattan and Sioux; the pheromones will be up from July through November, 2011. The packets contain Verbenone, a mountain pine beetle anti-aggregation pheromone to prevent attack by mountain pine beetles.

Open Space & Mountain Parks

Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4 and Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicides, to Russian olive on Monday and Tuesday at the East Rudd property, located southeast of the intersection betweeen Cherryvale Road and Marshall Drive.

OSMP staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4 and Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicides, to Russian olive at the Rolling Rock property, located east of Marshall Road and north of Marshall Drive.

OSMP staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4 and Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicides, to Russian olive, cottonwood, and Siberian elm at the VanVleet and Short properties, located north of US 36 and east of Cherryvale Road.
