Sketch of unlawful sexual contact suspect released

 Boulder police are trying to identify the man in the attached composite. He is wanted in connection with an Unlawful Sexual Contact case that occurred on Dec. 2 in the area of Broadway and Pine.

The female victim was walking alone around 12:24 a.m. She was talking on her cell phone when an unknown male confronted her and demanded the phone. She complied and continued to walk. The male followed her. She says he touched her inappropriately and then walked away.

A friend picked the victim up and drove her home after the incident. She described the suspect as:

·         A white male

·         Early 20s

·         Hoop earrings in both ears

·         Strong body odor

·         Dark-colored clothing

The case number is 11-15621.

Police remind everyone that it’s best to walk with a friend or a group of friends after dark; to walk on sidewalks and avoid alleys; stay in areas that are well lit and to contact police if they have safety concerns or if they notice anything that seems suspicious.
