Inspection Results

After an inspection has been completed:
The inspector will record the inspection with any corrections needed on the permit card retained at the project site and in the project file in the Inspection Services' office. You may go online to our Construction Permit Status Report or call our Inspections Request line at 303-441-1880 to find out if you passed your inspections or not.

Scheduling a Re-inspection:
The inspector may schedule a re-inspection for you while at the job site. However, if a re-inspection fee is required, you will need to pay the fee prior to scheduling a re-inspection. To do so, you must wait until the next business day to pay for and schedule the re-inspection.

The payment can be made by faxing a credit card number or by paying in person at the Planning & Development Services (P&DS) Center, 1739 Broadway, third floor. Call 303-441-1880 to request a fax payment form. The cashier will accept your payment and schedule the re-inspection for you.

After all inspections have passed:
Construction and final inspections are required on all permits issued by Planning & Development Services. After all inspections are completed and fees are paid, a Certificate of Occupancy is necessary before the building may be occupied. Some projects may receive a letter of completion rather than a Certificate of Occupancy.
