The route schedule is a guide only. Inspectors’ schedules are subject to change due to cancellations and other circumstances. There may be one or more inspectors arriving at different times for different inspections. We are unable to tell you the time of the inspection, ONLY what number you are on the inspector's list.
The person accountable for the work is responsible for providing the inspector with access to the permitted work, the approved plans and the permit packet. Where special knowledge is required to gain access to the work area, please provide such information on the form provided in your permit packet in a noticeable location, such as on the front door.

Planning & Development Services uses a phone-automated inspection scheduling system. You can schedule, change and confirm inspections, as well as request inspection results, with your touch-tone phone. To speak to a P&DS staff member, press “0.”
You may also use the Construction Permit Status Report to find out what inspections are needed, scheduled and/or completed for your permit.
How to Schedule an Inspection:
- Dial 303-441-3280.
- Press “1” for Building Inspections.
- Press “1” to Request an Inspection.
- Enter nine-digit permit number (Ex: 200209999).
- Enter onsite contact phone number.
- Enter four-digit inspection code.
- Request to have inspection results faxed to you.
- Select a date for inspection.
Before your Inspection:
Complete the information sheet in the permit packet and leave it with the permit on the construction site.
How to Schedule all Rough or all Final Inspections at One Time:
If you need to schedule all of your rough or final inspections for one time, you can use a single Inspection Code.

Change your Inspection Date:
- Dial 303-441-1880.
- Press “2” for Inspection Requests.
- Press “1” for Building Inspections.
- Press “2” for Future Inspections.
- Press “2” to Change Future Inspections.
- Enter nine-digit Permit Number.
- Enter four-digit Inspection Code.
- The inspection scheduling system will play the date of the scheduled inspection.
- Press “2” to Change the Inspection Date.
- Select a date for inspection.
