Police were called to a domestic violence incident in the 600 block of Alpine Way and were arresting the 29-year-old suspect when the suspect allegedly kicked a firefighter who had responded to medically clear the victim. The suspect was uncooperative with police. All together, the suspect was arrested and charged with three counts of Second Degree Assault, Third Degree Assault, Criminal Attempt, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Police Officer, Attempted Second Degree Assault and Attempted Third Degree Assault. 12-3537

Around 5:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Oak because someone had accidentally discharged a firearm into a neighbor’s house. The suspect told police he was going to practice “dry firing” his gun in his garage and did not know there was a round in the gun. No one was hurt. The victims did not wish to press charges. The suspect was cited for Reckless Endangerment. 12-3523
