About Us
What Inspections Do I Need?Construction and final inspections are required on all permits. When your construction permit is approved, you will receive a letter in the mail informing you that you may pick up your permit packet. An inspection record card will be included in your permit packet. You may also use our online Construction Permit Status Report to find out what inspections are required as well as which ones have been scheduled and/or completed. The inspector needs access to the work site, permit packet and plans. Post your permit on site in a place that is visible from the street. Keep your permit packet on site while construction is occurring. A responsible party must be present during the inspection.
After all inspections are completed and fees are paid, a Certificate of Occupancy is necessary for new residential spaces before the building may be occupied. Last Updated on Wednesday, 19 December 2007 02:01 |
