Blotter - May 10, 2012

Police responded to a 2-vehicle accident at 30^th and the Diagonal Hwy. Three people were transported to the hospital with possibly serious injuries. The driver of a Chevy van, which failed to yield during a turn, was cited for Careless Driving Resulting in Injury. 12-6266

Two female victims say they were menaced by a man in a Saab, who seemed to be upset over a parking situation. The women say the man boxed their vehicle in a parking spot so that they couldn’t leave, and that he threatened to kill them half a dozen times. He also allegedly mimicked pointing a gun, and pretended to pull the trigger. He drove off when the women called 911 and provided his license plate number. Police found the vehicle in the driveway of the suspect’s residence. A piece of paper had been taped over the license plate. The 29-year-old suspect was arrested at his residence and faces a charge of Menacing. 12-6279
