Register NOW to meet Arron Afflalo at the Parks and Recreation Department’s Denver Nuggets Basketball Camp for kids

The Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Denver Nuggets, is excited to announce that Denver Nuggets’ player Arron Afflalo will attend the Denver Nuggets Summer Camp for kids ages 7 to 15. The camp is held from Aug. 6 to Aug. 10 at the South Boulder Recreation Center, 1360 Gillaspie Drive.

Registration is available now for the camp at www.theBasketballAcademy.com > Denver Nuggets. All camp participants will meet Arron Afflalo and receive a ticket to a 2012 Denver Nuggets game, as well as a camp T-shirt and basketball.

The Denver Nuggets Summer Camp is for boys and girls of all skill levels. Participants will learn and develop skills in ball handling, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding. There will be camp contest and games. The camp is held from 8:30 to11:30 a.m. for ages 7 to 10 and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for ages 11 to 15, Monday through Friday, Aug. 6 to Aug. 10. Cost is $199 per participant.
