Spruce Pool opens for the summer season June 2

The Parks and Recreation Department opens Spruce Pool for the summer season on Saturday, June 2. The pool features an eight-lane 25-yard pool, leisure pool with accessible ramp and accessible play features including jets, fountains and a duck slide. Spruce Pool will be open through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3.

Scott Carpenter Pool opened for the season on May 14 and will be open through Sept. 16 for swimming. Dog Dayz will be held from Sept. 17 - 30.

Spring pottery sale June 2 and 3

The Parks and Recreation Department’s Spring Pottery Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, at the Pottery Lab, 1010 Aurora Ave. Hundreds of pottery pieces made by Pottery Lab staff and students will be available for purchase.
